We are pleased to announce that doctoral candidate Hunor G\u00e1l successfully defended his doctoral dissertation entitled The Organ Stock of Three Districts in the Archdiocese of Alba Iulia on September 11, 2025!<\/p>\n

Hunor G\u00e1l has fully met the conditions and assessment criteria for the award of a doctoral degree.\u00a0On the one hand, he has earned the credits required by the doctoral school’s training plan in connection with his doctoral studies.\u00a0On the other hand, he has obtained the appropriate qualifications in the partial examinations, as well as in the presentation of written papers required by the research program and in the defense of his dissertation before the faculty.\u00a0Finally, during his doctoral studies, he confirmed his participation in conferences required by the research program and his publications in journals included in the relevant international database.<\/p>\n
Based on the above and the results of the public defense, the Doctoral Committee awarded Hunor G\u00e1l the title of Doctor of Theology.<\/p>\n
It was a great honor for the doctoral candidate and the Doctoral School that the defense was attended by the “cream” of the music profession: Dr. Istv\u00e1n D\u00e1vid, organist and college professor; Dr. P\u00e1l Enyedi, organist and university professor; Dr. Erik T\u00fcrk, organist and university associate professor; Emese T\u00f3th Guttman, conductor, university lecturer, Zsolt B\u00edr\u00f3 and S\u00e1ndor Incze, cantors and choir directors, and other music enthusiasts.<\/p>\n
