The encyclical proved to be a watershed moment in the history of Catholic social teaching and eco-theology in 2015, and its message is more timely today than ever: the environmental, social, and inner spiritual crises are different dimensions of a single, interconnected reality.<\/p>\n<p>The ten essays in this volume explore this legacy across a rich diversity of academic disciplines: from the cosmic dimension of liturgy, through Franciscan spirituality and land art, to the eco-theological questions raised by artificial intelligence, from the pedagogical application of integral ecology to the mysticism of Hildegard of Bingen, as well as topics in Transylvanian church history\u2014from the Fogarassy Girls\u2019 School to the memory of the Franciscans interned at the M\u00e1riaradna shrine.<\/p>\n<p>The writings of young researchers\u2014doctoral candidates and guest lecturers\u2014bear witness to the shared conviction that theological thought bears responsibility for the cosmos, culture, and community.<\/p>\n<p>We warmly recommend this volume to all those interested in the intersections of creation care, theology, and culture!<\/p>\n<p><i>Laudato si\u2019 \u2013 Cosmos, Culture, Community.
