From 21-27 August, students of the Doctoral School of Religion, Culture, Society participate in an intensive workshop on academic writing and reading. The aim of the programme is to motivate and give young researchers the chance to spend 6-7 hours a day on their research project and to break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The diocesan synod in the diocese of Zrenjanin ended in May 2021. In point 8 of the post-synodal episcopal exhortation, Bishop László German SVD of Nagybecskerek expressed his intention to establish the diocesan pastoral office on 1 September of this year and to appoint its head to develop the pastoral process of the diocese, to implement the synodal decisions and to renew the diocese in synodal terms. Following a preliminary application, Noémi Geng, a third-year doctoral student of our doctoral school, will be appointed to lead the newly established pastoral office from October 2022.
