The Synodal Forum on the People of God as the Object of Mission, moderated by Klára Antónia Csiszár, Pastoral Theologian, Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Linz, and professor at the Doctoral School of the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, was held on 9 October at the Mansion of the Society of Jesus in Rome.
Our IX International Conference on Scientific Theology (NTTK) is entitled “Serenity fuelled by doubts … [Ecclesia] in eksön” (Péter Esterházy). The search for the way of our Church in the midst of the challenges of our times, and the III International Doctoral Conference is also linked to it. The conference aims to address in a frank and unbiased way current and sensitive issues concerning the present situation of our Church, which are of importance and perhaps even crucial for all of us.
In the framework of a development project, a delegation from our Doctoral School visited the Catholic University of East Africa and Tangaza College in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, in January 2023, and four Catholic higher education institutions in Manila and Tagaytay in the Philippines in South East Asia in the spring of 2023. In the spring of this year, networking in Latin America continued with visits to the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina in Buenos Aires and the Silva Henríquez Catholic University in Santiago de Chile.
4 doctoral students, László Ambrus, Orsolya Dani (Pál-Jakab), Hunor Gál and Edit-Rozália Péter represented the Doctoral School of Religion, Culture and Society at the conference held at the Faculty of Theology of the Hungarian University of Applied Sciences in Budapest.
In the framework of the Sapientia Free University organized by Sapientia College of Theology of Religious Orders Budapest, Dr. László Holló gave a lecture on 11 April 2024 on the topic of Religious Freedom and Catholic Autonomy in Torda.
