On the one hand, he has earned the credits required by the doctoral school’s training plan in connection with his doctoral studies. On the other hand, he has obtained the appropriate qualifications in the partial examinations, as well as in the presentation of written papers required by the research program and in the defense of his dissertation before the faculty. Finally, during his doctoral studies, he confirmed his participation in conferences required by the research program and his publications in journals included in the relevant international database.
Based on the above and the results of the public defense, the Doctoral Committee awarded Hunor Gál the title of Doctor of Theology.
It was a great honor for the doctoral candidate and the Doctoral School that the defense was attended by the “cream” of the music profession: Dr. István Dávid, organist and college professor; Dr. Pál Enyedi, organist and university professor; Dr. Erik Türk, organist and university associate professor; Emese Tóth Guttman, conductor, university lecturer, Zsolt Bíró and Sándor Incze, cantors and choir directors, and other music enthusiasts.
