We are pleased to announce that doctoral candidate Krisztián Tóth successfully defended his doctoral dissertation entitled The situation of the Roman Catholic State of Transylvania in the light of its relationship with the Hungarian governments during the dualism era and the Romanian governments between the two world wars on September 11, 2025!

Dr. Csaba Máté Sarnyai, habilitated associate professor (opponent) – Károli Gáspár Reformed University, Budapest
Krisztián Tóth has fully met the conditions and assessment criteria for the award of a doctoral degree. On the one hand, he has earned the credits required by the doctoral school’s training plan in connection with his doctoral studies. On the other hand, he has obtained the appropriate qualifications in the partial examinations, as well as in the presentation of written papers required by the research program and in the defense of his dissertation before the faculty. Finally, during his doctoral studies, he confirmed his participation in conferences required by the research program and his publications in journals included in the relevant international database.
Based on the above and the results of the public defense, the Doctoral Committee awarded Krisztián Tóth the title of Doctor of Theology.
